Is Summer here already?! Must be soon, since we’re planning what to do Memorial Day weekend! There are so many fun things happening that we can’t choose just one – so we put together our favorite events so you could help us decide!


Saturday, May 27th Events:

44th Annual Topanga Days Country Fair is a fun 3-day event, fundraising for the TCC! Between the live music, exciting contests and fun zones, this is a great way to spend the weekend taking in the sunshine with friends and family. There are multiple different ticket options, take a look on their website


Fiesta Hermosa is not only a local favorite but surrounding cities’ favorite as well! This arts festival includes 400+ stalls, food and drinks, live music and you’re right by the beach! Located on the pier of Hermosa Beach, take a look at their website

Sunday, May 28th Events:


Marina del Rey Hotel’s Sunday Boat House begins! From Noon to 6pm, lounge poolside and experience weekly themed events, games and competitions, drink specials, dance along to popular DJs, and special menus. The event is open to the public with no cover charge and takes place every Sunday through September 3rd, 2017 (weather permitting). Take a look at their website

Killer Rides Begins! Killer Shrimp Restaurant & Bar opens its parking lot to hot rods, classic cars and motorcycles for display. Admission is free! When you’re done checking out the rides, walk on in for delicious food and drinks!



MAINopoly – Main Street between Pier Avenue and Bay Street transforms into an interactive Monopoly Board Game! Sounds fun right? It gets better, attendees will use MAINopoly dollars to exchange for food tastings and drink specials in participating restaurants. $10-40 will get you your MAINopoly money and will help raise funds for Summer SOULstice and Heal the Bay! Monday, May 29th Events:


Memorial Day Champagne Brunch Cruise – This 2-hour Harbor cruise includes a brunch buffet, free-flowing champagne and sparkling cider, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, scenic Harbor views, relaxing music and private tables are available. This relaxing cruise boards at 11:30am and returns at 2pm for $68.95 per person. Take a look at their website


Topanga Days Country Fair Parade begins at 8:30am – Topanga Canyon Blvd. closes from Pine Tree Circle to Cheney Drive in both directions from 8am-12pm. View floats that locals and organizations have created! Winners will be announced at 8:20am.
